As my wife and I were traveling through New Zealand last year, we were fortunate enough to met a great Swedish couple (Anna-Lisa and Mats) who we were able to travel with for a few days. On the 29th of March, Mats is going to start a Svalbard Skiing Expedition with a group of other geoscience students from around the world.

As I am in drought ridden Australia with dead grass all around my house, city and state, I find this absolutely fascinating. Anyway, check out their site and blog.

Hi Rory and Jane!

Did you know that your blogg appears as second result when you google ‘frozenfive’! Well I have to emit things starts to get a bit hectic here! I’ll precent my bachelor thesis tomorrow, and during next week I’ll give some presentation about the skiing expedition. I’m so amazed that Anna-Lisa hasn’t freaked out yet on the mess I create in our tiny flat while packing and drying meat and so on. But now I have sent all the boxes I need to, only my personal gear to organise... That will take some time. I heard that Rory have started to work a bit. I can imagine that it is a hard time those first months. Not enough with sleep, no rest and so on. But hold on, it will be better in a few months (I guess, only heard, so far no such experience). I’m so happy for you! It must be wonderful to become ‘mum’ and ‘dad’! And to have a baby!
Well, need to keep on working with the presentation for tomorrow!
