It has been a busy couple of weeks recently that have prevented me from giving any decent attention to the skinning engine. I have however been able to give a bit of time to it now.
My most recent development on the skinning engine has highlighted that my current implementation isn't flexible enough to support the rendering functionality that I am after. I will have to make some changes to my design before continuing. I have mainly been focusing on developing the rendering of windows and buttons in the skinning engine. Hopefully there will be more progress over the next couple of weeks.
