Category: My Software | ApplicationsRory Primrose @ 07:30

Switch 1.7 has had some minor feature additions to help you zoom and pick those screen pixel colors. Here are the additions:

  • Added right-click option for zooming that will start the zoom at the last zoomed position
  • Added an option to return the cursor to the zoom button
  • Added right-click option for picking colors from the screen that will start the pick at the last picked position
  • Added an option to return the cursor to the pick button

Switch has been installed and tested on Windows 98SE, Windows NT4 and Windows 2000. Older Windows systems are unsupported but may still run with this software. Switch may or may not run on any other Windows operating system.

Microsoft Visual Basic 6 runtimes are required to install and run Switch.

Thanks quartzq. It's good to see that the app still gets some usage given its age.

Switch is awesome! however I have reinstalled it after for whatever reason it was removed from my computer and I have made sure VB6 is installed and now I seem to get nothing. I run switch and it shows in my start menu bar as an open program but the program is not on my desktop I can not even close it with by right clicking on the task bar. I have to resort to ctrl/alt/delete to end application.  This is weird any ideas on this? I have used switch on this computer lots in the past with no issues. Running XP btw. I have found it to be a very reliable and useful program in the past what could have happened I assume it's on my end but am at a loss for what to do.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, feel free to email me direct. cotto@cottoart.com Thanks Rory!
