If you have been using any Higher Tendencies applications, you can't have missed the fact that each version of the applications requested to be registered when they were run (if they weren't already registered). Registration was an attempt to determine how many people out there were using the applications, as not all of them would necessarily have been downloaded from Higher Tendencies.
Now that I have put so much work over the last week into making registrations work on the web server, I am finding that people are having too much trouble registering from the client side (ie: their computers talking to the server). Registration should have worked with a direct dialup internet connection, but going through a firewall or proxy, or using other security software may have stopped the registration process from being successful. There are ways around this, but they have been unstable in the past (I don't want to go there!).
You should all be please to know that I am removing the registration requirement from all the applications. This will make the software easier to use, hassle free and faster to download. Soon after my beta testers think that the new versions are ok, I will release new versions of all the software, without this feature.
If you want to know when they have been released, subscribe to the Higher Tendencies newsletter, as details about the apps are often sent out in it.
Soon, very soon.......
